Celebrate! Sunrise Dec. 25th

With a full heart I watched the sunrise on Christmas morning from a favorite “sunrise over the water” place near my home. A crisp cold morning with hints of snow visible near some of the edges of the banks. Very still with a bright warm light shining through the trees. Painted in my studio from photographs pretty much just as a experienced it. A peaceful and hopeful scene.
